Me, Myself and I

http://thetravelsofjo.blogspot.com/ was started when I spent a year in the United States at Washington University in St. Louis. It chronicles my travels as I studied. It details my year spent teaching English in South Korea, my PGCE year in Cumbria, and my rants about life, love (or lack there of) and everything in between. 

About me:

• I am a perfectionist, someone who expects too much and gets frustrated with herself on a daily basis. 
• I am an eternal singleton....still! 
• I am my own worst enemy and I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew. (See below)
• I am struggling to find a healthy work/life balance. 
• I am looking forward to what 2012 has to offer. 

I am a secondary school teacher, I teach History and I have genuine concerns about the way the British education systems is heading. I am studying towards a degree with the Open University, BA (Hons) English Literature. I hope to write a book and get it published, which is why I blog. Plus, I hope to re-ignite the spark I found when I started blogging way back in my early twenties. 

I am a massive Doctor Who fan, I support Tottenham Hotspur, I love British comedy, tea and biscuits. I have some incredible friends and a fantastic family. I want to see the world, I want to change the world around me, I want to be remembered.
